Did you place your bet on when Jason would shave his beard?
And the winner is…
…well he hasn’t come completely clean, and he tells us that he has no plans to do so anytime soon; but he did cut it down to a very trim look. So we will go with that date. We had many bets; with dates ranging from March 15th to Aug 24th. The most common date picked was April 1st with five different guests betting on that date. And the second most common date picked was March 31st with four different guests betting on that date.
We need to give special recognition to the two most creative wagers.
First, from from Jim & Barbara Malerba with “As to Jason, I'm guessing he last shaved when Zebra was just a foal. As to when he will shave the beard... When the Chardonnay grape turns to vinegar; or when a favorite customer brings him a bottle of a 2004 Gaja Barbaresco Sori Tildin”
Second most creative bet was from Richard Brooks with “I think the girlfriend has the say, but mid June after the Celtics Win ‘Banner 18’ plus it'll start to get itchy with the heat. I think he'll shave it then grow it back again”. (he is correct on growing it back again)
But for accurately picking the date the winner of the $50 gift certificate is Donald Markum with April 22nd
